Celebrating Israel

Every year we start our celebration of Israel by decorating the hallways with all things blue and white. It is a great visual cue to begin the learning about Israel and expand the learning about the Israeli flag and its colors. Working with maps, cutting Israeli salad, making crafts inspired by the Magen David and more, are all engaging ways to teach about Israel. We even take a plane "trip" to Israel to celebrate and learn about the different cities and sights that the country has to offer.
