Sounding the Shofar

As we learn about the holidays, we explore the shofar. Some are smooth and some are bumpy. Some make a very loud noise while others are too difficult to blow. The Rabbi blows the shofar at our Shabbat program and one of our teachers blows it on the playground for all the children to hear! We even made our own shofarot with paper or tubes and we practice blowing the notes we will hear during the Chagim.
